In Los Angeles, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in California, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Today we had a team-building workshop for 9 work colleagues and we enjoyed the experience very much! It was a 90 minute workshop in which we created some dye, painted terracotta pots, and were able to pick out a succulent to take home. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and fun and I can definitely see myself returning to buy some plants and pots.

Latinx with Plants hosted a fun PD workshop for our team. It was fun, informative and the vibezz were exactly what the team needed. The shop is cute, spacious and there is public parking right around the corner.

Beautiful small business! They had a Motherβs Day event where my mom and I made flower arrangements, took photos and ate delicious food! Very cool that they do so much with community.

My mom and I enjoyed shopping here for my new plantitas. Itβs a lovely space with so many beautiful plants. I decided to shop here to support a local Latinx owned plant shop. They were busy with a big order for DΓa de los muertos, but still took the time to answer all our questions about plant names, plant care, and even share stories. They offered my mom a chair to sit when she mistook a table for a chair. I appreciated that! They also offered to examine/diagnose any plants should I have any challenges at a later date. It truly takes a village. Jaja. All in all, it was a good experience. I would definitely patronize there again. Not pictured is a second cactus, snake plant, and potting soil that I also purchased. Prices were reasonable and plants are in great condition. Parking wasnβt too bad. We found a spot on one of the side streets.
